❓ How do I get started with Binemail?
  1. Download Binemail from the App Store
  2. Tap "Continue with Google" to connect your Gmail account
  3. Grant permissions to access your emails
  4. Binemail will automatically organize your inbox
🔒 Is my data safe and private?

Yes! We take your privacy seriously:

  • ✅ All data is encrypted end-to-end (AES-256)
  • ✅ We use OAuth 2.0 (we never see your Gmail password)
  • ✅ Emails are cached for only 45 days, then automatically deleted
  • ✅ We NEVER sell your data or share it with third parties
  • ✅ No advertising or tracking

🗑️ How do I delete my account?

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open Binemail
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) → Settings
  3. Scroll down to "Account"
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm deletion

Option 2: Revoke Gmail Access

  1. Visit Google Account Permissions
  2. Find "Binemail" in the list
  3. Click "Remove Access"

Option 3: Email Us

Send an email to support@binemail.app with the subject "Delete My Account" from your registered Gmail address.

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted within 30 days.
📊 What data does Binemail collect?

Binemail collects:

  • Email Content: To organize and categorize your emails
  • Email Metadata: Senders, subjects, dates for analytics
  • Account Info: Your Gmail address and name
  • Device Info: iOS version, app version (for bug fixes)
  • Usage Data: Which features you use (to improve the app)

Binemail Premium includes:

🔄 How often does Binemail sync my emails?
  • Free Tier: Syncs every time you open the app
  • Premium: Automatic background sync every 30 minutes

You can manually sync at any time by pulling down to refresh.

🚫 Why can't I connect my Yahoo/Outlook account?

Currently, Binemail supports Gmail accounts only. We're working on adding support for other email providers in future updates.

❌ Binemail says "Authentication Error" - what do I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Sign out and sign back in: Settings → Account → Sign Out → Sign In again
  2. Check Google permissions:
  3. Check internet connection: Make sure you have a stable connection
  4. Update the app: Make sure you're using the latest version
  5. Restart the app: Close completely and reopen

🐛 I found a bug - how do I report it?

We appreciate bug reports! Please email support@binemail.app with:

  • Device: iPhone model (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro)
  • iOS Version: Settings → General → About
  • App Version: Settings → About in Binemail
  • Steps to Reproduce: How can we recreate the bug?
  • Expected vs. Actual: What should happen vs. what actually happens?
  • Screenshots/Video: If possible, attach screenshots or screen recording

🔐 Can Binemail access my password?

No! Binemail uses OAuth 2.0 authentication, which means:

  • ❌ We NEVER see or store your Gmail password
  • ✅ You authenticate directly with Google
  • ✅ Google gives us a temporary access token
  • ✅ You can revoke access anytime from Google settings

Your password stays safely with Google.

📱 Which devices are supported?

Binemail supports:

  • ✅ iOS 15.0 or later
  • ✅ iPhone (all models from iPhone 7 and up)
  • ✅ iPad (optimized for iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini)

Not available on Android yet, but it's on our roadmap!

🎫 Premium Subscription

💳 How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find "Binemail Premium"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your billing period.

💰 Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Binemail purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund"
  5. Choose a reason and submit

Apple typically responds within 48 hours.
